I sincerely hope that if this is seen by Robin’s family it will bring only happy memories. While sorting through my box of momentos from those years, I found a newspaper clipping announcing her engagement to Mick that prompted me to search for any current information about her. I was beyond saddened to learn that Robin had died. I met Robin at KCC in Battle Creek after I graduated from Lakeview HS. It was impossible not to notice Robin on that campus; she was beautiful, bright, friendly and kind. I know she had a wonderful life with Mick. Her children, grandchild and friends must feel a huge void in their lives. Although I haven’t seen Robin in all these decades, I feel a great sadness too. What a beautiful soul. Janet Stafford Myers

Dear Mick and family, I was so sorry to hear of Robin's passing. The tribute to her in The Hartford Courant was wonderful. It's true that she was a much beloved substitute teacher at Academy School. In 1989 she was the long-term sub for me when I was out on maternity leave and those students couldn't have been in better hands. Teachers, students, administrators, parents - everyone loved Robin. What a beautiful, beautiful person inside and out. (I can hear her voice and laugh now as I write this.) We always found it fun that way back in the family tree Mick and I are most likely related. The students always enjoyed that tidbit. Hugs go out to all of you at this difficult time. I wish I still lived in Connecticut so I could be there to honor Robin's memory with you. My thoughts will be with you. Laurie
