Obituary of Wilfred Rupar

Wilfred (Wolf) Alfred Rupar, Sr., 75 of East Hartford, CT was born May 13, 1937 in Warehouse Point, CT passed peacefully on Sunday afternoon August 12, 2012 at Rockville General Hospital under the care of Hospice. He was the devoted husband of April Perry Rupar, Beloved father of Dianne & Darrell Draghi, Wilfred Jr., Denise & Michael Walsh and Michael; and dearly loved Grandfather of Dennis Rupar, Sara-Louise Walsh and M. Jakob Rupar. He was retired from CT Labors and First Federal Savings. His life's work was to take care of his family, work hard, be generous and achieve the best, while maintaining a sense of humor. He also leaves many extended family members and friends. A special thank you to the Vernon Manor staff and to the CNA's who gave TLC- Wanda, Maria and Isaac and the nurses - Maryanne, Susan, Tamara and Robin. Thank you to RGH 2nd floor staff for the care received. A very special appreciation to North Central Hospice. Funeral service will be Thursday August 16, 9:15am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury to St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday August 15 from 4-8pm.
