Obituary of Melissa Belek Skelly

Melissa Belek Skelly, 44, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Brian T. Skelly, died Monday April 30, 2018 at home. Born November 13, 1973, daughter of Ronald and Judy (Zack) Belek of Coventry, she had lived in Glastonbury the past 3 years. Melissa was a Business Analyst for UnitedHealthcare. She was a graduate of UConn, a member of ClubWaka Volleyball League, she enjoyed gardening, skiing, boating, and yoga. Her family was her life, and her children her biggest passion. Besides her husband and parents she is survived by her twin daughters Molly Emaline and Kai Hazel Skelly, her sister Robyn Gottesdiener and her husband Larry Gottesdiener of California, brother Jonathan Belek and his wife Kelly of Wethersfield, sister Ariel Belek of Hartford, a nephew Asher Gottesdiener a niece Grace Belek, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Diane Skelly of Farmington, and her sister-in-law Jennifer Skelly of Bristol. Funeral service will be Saturday May 5 at 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday May 4 from 4-7pm.
