Obituary of Judith Virginia Koseski
Judith Virginia Bernacki Koseski, 78, of Glastonbury Ct, passed away on June 4th 2018 Judy was born in New Britain, CT on March 19, 1940. She graduated from New Britain High School and continued on to receive a Bachelors of Science from the University of Hartford and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. She was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at Central Connecticut State University and was certified in Nursing Administration by the American Nurses Association. Judy was a proud and dedicated employee of Mt. Sinai and St. Francis Hospitals for more than 50 years. After retiring she continued to work as a Nursing Clinical Services Supervisor at Nursing Services Inc, East Hartford, CT. She is survived by her children William A. Christie and his wife Laura S. Christie of Barkhamsted CT, Laura A. Christie of Glastonbury CT and Melissa L. Koseski of Plainville MA., her grandchildren, Christopher Sylvester, Travis Christie, Cole Christie, Tessla Donovan, Robyn Donovan, Angele Christie, William H. S. Christie, several nieces and nephews, sister Sandra Marshall, brothers Edward Bernacki and his wife Barbara Bernacki and Bruce Bernacki and his wife Tanya Bernacki. Judy is predeceased by her parents Yolanda and Edward Bernacki, husband Richard J. Koseski to whom she was married to until his death in December 2009 and brother in-law Ronald Marshall. She was also predeceased by a son Robert Christie and daughter Debra Christie. Her love and care for others is forever endless. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 10, 2-4pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave. Glastonbury CT. Father Mark Suslenko of the community of SS Isidore and Maria at St. Paul Church will be officiating. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 11, 10am at St. Paul’s Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury CT. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1318 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT 06033. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Heart Association PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
