I was so, so sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. She was a truly genuine, caring person who went out of her way to reach out to others. We were not close friends, we knew each other through our children and activities in town, however, she had a lasting impact on my life. Upon my request, Nancy volunteered to host foreign students during the summer including them into every aspect of her family through cooking, shopping, and endless adventures. When I was struggling with my mom’s failing health, Nancy offered support, not only to me, but to my mom through her practice of Reiki. She made everyone who crossed her path feel comfortable and important. She took time to reach out and show that she cared through word and deed. She will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
P.S. A gift she gave me years ago when I provided daycare for Alison will live on forever in our family. I make her sesame peanut brittle every year at Christmas as one of our traditional treats.

My heart goes out to the family. Nancy was a very special person. We all, at Torrington Savings Bank always looked forward to her visits. After taking care of business she would take us out to lunch...I think we did more laughing than eating...we talked about vacations, families and always about the kitties that she loved so much. Yes, she was a special person! We will treasure our memories of her and her kindness, sense of humor and most of all her friendship.

I only knew Nancy for about 6 or 7 years not as long as many at the memorial Service. We met as roommates on a rule filled weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, where we shared lots of laughs and discovered we were both from PA. Four of us roamed around the town that night like a bunch of silly teenagers at the Jersey shore. Teasing the waitstaff at several restaurants, setting up dates for her daughters and Patricia.
She joined our Foodies Meetup and always showed up with a jar filled with flowers and a bow tied around it along with good food. She introduced me to the Farm Dinners. She was referred to as Flowers or Nice Nancy, though she preferred Naughty Nancy. She was a good friend that will sorely be missed. I loved her Amish jokes with the perfect accent, that always cracked me up.
I am so fortunate to have known her but she will be greatly missed.

I was very sorry to hear about Nancy’s passing. She was a bright light. Nancy was a business client and a friend. She was always a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed talking Duke Basketball with her and talking shop with her comparing ski instructing experiences. She is going to be missed by her financial institution clients and her associate agents. Condolences to all her friends and family.

When I think of Nancy, immediately I see her big smile, with sparkling eyes, and I hear that great laugh. Such a smart, athletic, lovely, fun-loving lady - who I met freshman year as a Tri Delt pledge.
Solace to her family.

Nancy was the nicest person. Someone whom we all aspire to be like. I, like so many others, was touched by her many random acts of kindness - cards, flowers, notes, social invitations, etc. She possessed a warm heart and a gorgeous smile. Beautiful inside and out. She touched so many lives and will be dearly missed all who knew her. My sincere condolences to her family.

The world has lost one of the nicest people I know. Nancy was a member of Mt. Laurel Ski Club where everyone liked her. She took the time to plant flowers behind our new lodge, and every time I look at that row of flowers which bloom every spring, I think of her and her selflessness. She will be sorely missed by many. She was as avid a Duke fan as I am a Penn State fan and we both understood each other in that sense. My condolences to her family. May they remember her fondly every time Duke plays, just as I think of her when I see those flowers.
