Homer was one of my dearest friends. When times were difficult, Homer was there for me. A great tennis friend who knew the game was second to his friendship with others. We'll miss him dearly.
Best regards to Pat and related family. We'll see Homer on the courts one-day, above and beyond.

Homer, Pat and Family,
We have known Homer since 1964 when he represented us closing on our first house. We had a lot of laughs and interactions for 54 years--as a lawyer and particularly on tennis court--all good. His very favorite shot was a cross court volley with a lot of backspin. After winning the point he would follow with a chuckle and appropriate comment. About 10 years ago he lost a bet resulting in a lobster roll at Johnny Ad's. About a week before Homer passed we talked and laughed about his good intention to pay his debt. As we would say "Homer is a beaut"!
His non wavering conservative political views were known all over CT and FL but he had the knack of not offending anyone.
Pat and family, we will miss Homer. He was kind, giving and offered a lot of good advice. He brought a lot of joy to many people including us. God Bless.

To Leslie, John, Ari, Josh, Sienna, Georgie, Lee, Jake, Mary, Emily, Harris, Alex, Pat, and anyone I may have forgotten.....You had a great ride. There was no one like Homer. He was down to earth, brilliant, and a first class PIA, but somehow you had to love him. His qualities covered the color spectrum, and although it has been six years since I have seen him, It was such a wonderful experience to see him again, even under the worst of circumstances. Homer and I had a bond...one that I could never even try to explain. I respected him and adored him, and at times I was prepared to give him a peice of mind he would not only forget but never get rid of. You all were blessed with both the best and worst of Homer, and sometimes the worst out weighed the best. In all essence, however, I hope that he is looked back as the most ineresting character you may have ever encountered and loved, and in some size, shape or form he effected your life. You were all, not all the time, in essence lucky to have him in some way, yet it be so colored.
Please know that all of you have my, along with my families, sincerest condolences. I will think of Homer fondly, in the same place I have Tom. Always in my head but somehow touching my heart. I send my love to you all, wether you know me or not, and wish you the best in the future. God Bless Godfather...God Speed.
All of my love and Support

Homer, to say I'm gonna miss you is an understatement. You were my best friend, an older brother figure, fatherly figure and mentor, all rolled up in one. We had so many good times together and nobody could make me laugh the way you did. Your ability to make friends instantly with people you just meet was astounding. For over 35 years our friendship never wavered. Life will not be the same without you, my scotch drinking buddy!!!
