Dear Barb and Family,
I was so sorry to read about the death of Bob in the paper. My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband. I can only imagine that all of you have been through quite an ordeal with this long illness.
Although we have not seen each other in many years, I remember when you first met your husband and called him ‘My Bob.’ I also remember hearing about your special wedding day with the hot air balloon ride.
Sending you thoughts of sympathy and hoping that, in time, your cherished memories will bring you peace. (I don’t have your current address - would have preferred to send real mail.)
