For years I took care of Marge's footwear, Always a challenge for which she was always overly thankful and appreciative of. Always a Christmas and Birthday card and cookies at every visit! When I stopped hearing from her I thought she just settled into her Florida home. Before she left and in the process of moving she wanted me to have a Wallace nutting print which I graciously accepted and hangs in a prominent spot in my store (The Bathroom were everyone see's it) Marge would love the humor in that! . This week I looked at it and thought the glass needed a good cleaning so I did that and it just brought the picture to life again. From there I tried calling her as I have periodically over the last two years but this time the message said "this number is unassigned" which brought me to her obituary! It's been several years since she's past but were ever you are Marge your memory lives on in me and of course the wonderful picture you bestowed me. I'll think of your beautiful face every time I use the bathroom! LOL I love you Marge! I hope to see you in the afterlife! John

Marge was such a kind person - I had not seen her in many years, but she was a good friend to my family for a long time, especially my mother. My parents and many of my relatives worked with her at St. Francis Hospital and always spoke of Marge with the highest regard. My deepest condolences to you, Laura & Christopher, and family.

My Dear Auntie Marge. The world is worse off, with you gone. You were always so kind to everyone, no matter who they were. I will fondly remember the kind words you always had and your delicious cooking. I still have one last container of your spaghetti sauce in my freezer, and I’m sure it will be quite yummy. I’ll make a toast to you when I use it. Rest In Peace, Auntie Marge. Till we meet again...

Dear Marge you will be missed for sure, but the light you shine so brightly will never dim. You could always find humor in any situation. You spoke your mind but never held a grudge. Your comedic and literary skills were a gift. Thank you for the letters you wrote to me that always ended on a positive note. R.I.P.

Marge, when I saw you a few months ago you were so happy and excited about your move to Florida. I loved seeing how bubbly you felt. I know you have had your share of medical issues but had no idea I wouldn't see you again another party of some sort. It's surreal you're gone. You were a force to be reckoned with in the OR..you knew your stuff and were always nothing but kind and helpful to everyone. They don't make'm like you anymore. You were loved and will be missed ♥

Marge was the Brightest Star for so many of us who worked along side of her. She was an excellent nurse- extremely qualified and dedicated to her patients , Md's, and the staff. She worked endlessly to be the person she was. She volunteered, brought meals, love to fellow workers dx. W/cancer. She loved her entire family. We used to go to Groton Long Point to sit in the sunshine, talk and share each other's company. She supported the younger nurses---Lorie Giordano was especially bright, kind and a loving person to her.
Thank you Marge for the many gifts you gave and left for us. You will be missed.
LU,. Sherry
My heart goes out to her family, who Always supported and Loved her. They are strong, but the shock of losing her SO SUDDEN has to be overwhelming. Take care of them.

Margie was a wonderful friend, I remember her from childhood when she would accompany my friend and her sister, Andrea Burton, to my parent's house in Springfield, where we would have a lot of fun times. Margie had a lot of illnesses to cope with over the years,, but she did so with dignity and fortitude. My sympathies go out to the family, and now I know Margie has peace and no more pain. I was fortunate to have invited her to CA a few years past, where we had a great adventure exploring California together with Andrea, Memories sustain us..and I hope her family will remember their wonderful memories with this wonderful, caring person

We have lost one of the kindest, most generous and thoughtful people on the planet. Marge was always concerned about others and minimized any difficulties going on in her own life. A truly selfless woman and wonderful friend. Our whole family will miss her.
