For a few years, Richard and I would go to the West Hartford VFW to play setback. Whenever possible , Richard and I would be partners. He loved the game, as did I . He was an excellent player, matched only by,my father.
I miss them both.

Dear Jackie & Ginger- sending heartfelt condolences to you both as so sorry to hear about Richard. He was such a great guy. You were terrific neighbors & friends many years ago. Richard was a nice friend to my brother Barry ( long ago deceased). I still remember them taking a fun trip to FL in my brother’s new red Pontiac convertible. And I remember you both fondly too. Sounds like you have a wonderful family. I’m sorry not able to attend funeral since I winter in FL. Email me if you ever get to Old Saybrook where I now live after Wethersfield & West Hartford. I’m the only one still living in my family but my mom lived to 99yrs until 2012.
Hope you are both well and your grieving will be consoled by many fond memories.

From being a neighbor on Madison Rd. In Glastonbury, and participating in the Block Parties he instigated, to our relentless 30 year adversarial roles playing weekly Set-back games with Bob Valera, Bob Tarala and me. All good, all enduring. The last of my really good friends. RIP.
