Obituary of Mary Lou Lysik

Mary Lou Lysik, beloved mother and friend, left this world on October 19, 2012. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard S. Lysik whom she can be with now in heaven. She is survived by her only daughter, Karen Lysik, a sister in law, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She worked for the Dairy Council, a candy company and finally a doctor's office in Hartford as a medical secretary where she'd eventually retire from. She belonged to The Polish Junior League and loved to go to The Polish Home in Hartford for food and events. She was a deeply religious person that loved to attend services at St. Christopher's Church and watch the daily mass on TV every day. She also loved playing cards, eating out or going to the theater with her friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday (Oct. 26, 2012) 11:00a.m.at St. Christopher Church, East Hartford. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury.
