Peggy was my closest dearest friend in high school. After college, we lost track of each other, regrettably; I have wonderedabout her and looked for her in many places and ways. It is with heavy heart that I learn of her passing. Hoping these words of condolences reach her family.May peace find your heart. sincerely Jean hackney Vickers

I had the privilege of meeting Peggy at the St. Francis Cancer Center. Even though our first meeting was not exactly on a positive note -I was new at serving lunch and she didn’t like it when I gave her paper towels instead of the cloth ones! :-), we developed a very nice friendship almost immediately. From our conversations, I could tell she was a very intelligent, as well as a very warm and caring person.
As a book lover, Peggy introduced me to various wonderful books and we shared many moments discussing them. She liked to talk about her children and grandkids and would show me photos. She also liked to hear about my travels and look at my photos. She gave me a bookmark she had made and I will treasure it and think of her every time I see it. I will miss her! May she Rest In Peace!

I only met Peggy once. That was at her daughter Nina’s wedding some years ago.
But thru Nina I got to know her pretty well. Her devotion to her work, her family and humanity.and how proud Nina was of her mother.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

I wish to extend my most heartfelt condolences.
I remember Peggy sitting in my conference room not so long ago.
I was aware of her illness and the many challenges she faced on a daily
basis. When the meeting was over and Peggy left to go home I can recall
being so incredibly impressed. Some of the words that can accurately
describe what I witnessed; brave, intrepid, fearless, positive, acceptance,
kind, exceptional intellect, unselfish, and courageous .
I know this has been a long journey for the entire family, especially for my good friend Ed. It was truly inspirational to see your devotion and caring.
I am sorry for your loss, may she Rest In Peace.
