Remembering Lois. It was 1977 when I had the pleasure of selling Lois and Sheldon their first home in Glastonbury.
They were relocating from New Jersey with their son David. Lois fell in love with Glastonbury, especially Main Street with our
historic homes. As an accomplished artist she so appreciated this charming New England town. They purchased Overlook and it was a testiment to her good taste as she so lovingly decorated their home. Sheldon was with Xerox publishing, and when an
extraordinary opportunity was presented with a large publishing house, they relocated back to New Jersey . However in
2005 they relocated back to Glastonbury purchasing a home on Buttonball Lane. Once again Lois updated and decorated
their home with her tasteful choices. Lois shared so much with me from her decorating tips to great recipes. I will always remember this beautiful and intelligent lady. Lois had many talents and accomplishments; however, it was her nurturing
and love for her husband and two sons which said so much about her. So I will always remember Lois.
Janice Novicki, Realtor and friend.

A new family came to Glastonbury, they had a son who had the swagger of a New Jersey boy who played baseball, we became friends ! I spent many days at the Schutzman household from then on....Mrs Schutzman always eager to engage us youngsters in conversation about life & art ( and of course food ) she was so very proud of her family and always welcomed anyone in to show them off....or maybe it was to lure us into looking at her picture that she had just painted..there was always a new picture or she was working on one. I had never known a painter before, but it was amazing when we would walk in before or after a game there would always be cookies or some sort of snack for us and of course a life lesson. Dave & Cindy your mother will be missed and mourned as she was a true candle always lit and bright.
