Obituary of Darleen Delvy

Darleen (Kaitz) Delvy, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on February 26, 1946 and raised in Seymour, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Winifred (Cripps) Kaitz.  She graduated from Seymour High School in 1963 and spent her career in the banking industry holding various positions with Derby Savings Bank and continued on with Webster Bank. Before relocating to Vernon in 2010 with her companion Paul Arnini, she was a longtime resident of Beacon Falls where she raised her family.  She is survived by her daughter Diane (Delvy) Mazzadra and her husband Adam Mazzadra of South Windsor and her son Donald Anderson of Colorado. She also leaves behind her beloved grandsons Brendt and Aaden Mazzadra, whom she adored.  She is also survived by her sister Donna Milone and her husband Douglas Milone of Seymour, her brother Alwyn Kaitz of Seymour, along with several nieces and nephews.  She confronted life’s challenges with grace was one of the most selfless, gentle and kind people you could have met.  She will be greatly missed.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
