So glad we reconnected. I will always remember playing freshman basketball for Coach Hartwell and later hanging at the Farm Shop trying to figure out who is gonna race who. Camp fires at the Niki Site and street racing on Rt.2. John was always the life of the party at Addison Rd. I am so glad to have known him and will cherish all the adventures we had together. John was one of the first Connecticut State Police Auxiliary Troopers that I rode with upon graduating from the Troop K Auxiliary Trooper class in 1976. We always seemed to end up in the Portland area. He was a pleasure to be with and later rode with me upon becoming a Regular Trooper at Troop K in 1977. God bless you John. My sincere condolences to his family.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Roncaioli family for the loss of their beloved John. Back in the 1970's John and I spent many a Friday night patrolling Troop K territory together and had a great time doing it. I considered him a very close friend and will always remember the Roncaioli family for the warmth they shared with me. Dear John, may you rest in peace
