Carol was everything described in the obituary....and so much more. She adored her family, but was so sad without Ed. She helped me when I lost my husband 1 month after Ed passed.
My husband and I had many good times with Carol and Ed. Barbara Woloszczuk and I visited Carol at the Hearth. I tried to see her in Farmington in late February but got lost... and planned to try again after getting directions from Elaine.
My heart goes out to the entire family...with deepest sympathy...

I remember Carol, her laughter and her wonderful smile. She and I worked together at First Church in the Women's Fellowship and also in the Woman's Club of Glastonbury. She was always up and helpful in whatever we were doing.
I am so glad I had a chance to give her a hug one day when I saw her in the fall. We chatted briefly and there was her smile - same as ever!!293G5

A long-time neighbor with her Ed with us on Spring Street Ext., in Glastonbury, Carol was a quiet light in her later years. Her service to the town is legendary. I always remember the tribute to her as the first woman Town Fire Commissioner in Connecticut--the antique red fire hydrant given a special place in their backyard right next to their sun porch from which she might look out at it everyday as she enjoyed her favorite resting spot. They were so kind to offer their yard as a shortcut for us to walk our dogs over to the entrance to the pathway from their yard to the woods behind our homes. She will be missed by many, and by us on Spring Street Ext.

To Carol's family~
Carol and Ed were good friends of my parents, Fritz and Barbara Woloszczuk. They went on many wonderful adventures together. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
