Dear Michelle - Bob and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Linda will be missed a lot at the East Hampton shelter. She was always the first one to volunteer for anything needing to be done and loved every pup who came through the door! She left earth far too soon, but certainly made her mark while here. ❤

We only met Linda once, at a Protectors of Animals, adoptathon. We had gone with the intention of rescuing one particular dog, who, unfortunately had already been adopted. Linda introduced us to T.J., an adorable Pomeranian. Although we had no intention of adopting him, Linda kept encouraging us to and we finally agreed. Best decision we have ever made. T.J. is a character, a funny, loving, affectionate, dog. He gets along with the other 4 pets in the house. We couldn't have asked for a nicer dog and we have Linda to give the credit to. We are sorry to read of her passing. Rest in peace Linda.

Michelle, I'm so sorry for your loss. Linda was very special; I enjoyed getting together with her and others. She also steered me to Protectors of Animals, where I adopted a couple of kitties from. I still have my Gotta Getta Gund kitty that she gave me, and will treasure forever because it was a gift from her.

I am so sorry to hear about Linda's passing. It was always such a pleasure to see her and work the POA events together. She was such an advocate for the animals. She will surely be missed and of course will remain in my thoughts and in my heart. I always looked forward to seeing her bright smile. Please know I'm thinking of your family and sending peace and prayers your way. Love, Elisa LaDue

I was very sorry to see your Mom passed away. I always considered her a good friend. She was incredible with her commitment to service, being involved with many causes like the Colchester Dog Park & Protector of Animals. I will always cherish our time together working on the Colchester Dog Park Committee. She will be missed.
