Obituary of Vittorina Rolfo

Rina Rossi Rolfo, 98, of Glastonbury, formerly of Pelham, NY, wife of the late Arthur J. Rolfo, died Thursday December 20, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. Born August 1, 1914 in New York City, daughter of the late Dominick and Teresa (Peracchio) Rossi she had lived in New York her entire life moving to Glastonbury a year ago. Rina graduated from NYU and was a Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She co-authored three books on Apparel Pattern Making and Design. Rina and her late husband loved to travel and they traveled throughout the world. Rina is survived by her three cousins; Rina Bigotto of Glastonbury, Lillian Reese of Manchester and Aldo Peracchio of South Windsor. She was predeceased by a cousin Antonio Peracchio, Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday Dec. 26 from 2-4pm. Private burial will be in the Cemetery of the Holy Sepulchre, New Rochelle, NY.
