She was a lovely person, always kind to me. I remember playing in their yard and attending the annul neighborhood yard sales where I was given space for selling my records and Barbie dolls. We were a great neighborhood thanks to Mr & Mrs Pitt and many other good families. My heart is heavy for her family. Diane

I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful Matriarch. Your Mom always made me feel at home any time I stepped on Littel Acres...Running the house of many children and their many activities would make me feel like I was in my own house! My fond memories are too many to count but it started with me swimming for Woodledge and her reaching out to tell me I did a good job, even though I was on the opposing team and not a very fast swimmer. My last substantial time was in a car with her for an hour and a dig walk with Darlin'. I have tears in my eyes as I write, as I am SO GRATEFUL for that time with her and we laughed the whole time. She always had a positive attitude, even during difficult times. A trait passed on. RIP dear Betsey
