+ 1
I met Shannon at CCSU and most of us in these pictures were on the same dorm floor. We had so much fun together and laughed to no end so we all moved in together after school and kept it going!
We all lived together for years at our home base 34 Fairfield Ave, 5 doors to the right of ABC Pizza in Hartford, CT.
Shannon was one of those rare breeds that walked into a room and owned it. His stories came fast and furious, one after another and I barely had time to breathe in between.
He was just one of the funniest men I've ever met in my life and he brought so many people happiness and joy.
Shannon marched to the beat of his own drum in life, much like myself, and we had that connection along with trying to outdo each other trying to make people laugh.
I have countless "Shannon" stories and if we all put them to paper it would be larger than "War & Peace".
The mold was broken when this dude was created, and I'm so glad I got to share part of my life with this gentleman.
As SteveR says "I remember this one time I was with Shannon and..." is so perfect because we all have said that countless times.
I live in Northern California and it kills me that I can't be there to pay my respects with everyone on Friday. The stories will be priceless.
Rest in Peace My Friend...I will keep all those funny, wacky times close to my heart and keep on laughing.

This photo of Shannon is when my wife and I renewed our vows in 2005. my son Dillon, on the right, is Shannon's godson. Everybody who knew Shannon had a story that started out "I remember one time I was with Shannon and ......." whatever had happened was extraordinary and memorable. I have a thousand of those memories as we have been friends since college and were roommates for years. We will all miss Shannon and his great sense of humor. The way he could tell a joke was remarkable. He could stretch it out and make you laugh a bunch of times before he even got to the punchline, which he always crushed. My kids always liked when 'fun uncle' Shannon visited and peeled out when he left. Shannon was always very wise and encouraging to me. We had so many great times together whether it was golfing, concerts, Patriots or Red Sox games. I remember one time I was with Shannon and......
God Bless you Shannon and rest in peace my good friend.
