Obituary of Thomas Gary Niebler

Thomas (Tommy) Niebler was born on June 15, 1949 in New Britain, CT to Elmer and Sophia Niebler. Tommy passed away on December 18, 2020 from COVID-19 at the age of 71. Tommy was very social, and he brought joy to all those he encountered with his warm smile, infectious laugh and vibrant personality. It didn’t take long for people to gravitate towards him and develop a very special bond with him. Tommy had a kind and empathetic heart and would show care and concern for those he loved. Tommy had a love for many things but most particularly, he had a love for money and a love for good food and always enjoyed eating out at various restaurants. One of his favorite restaurants was Red Lobster. Tommy enjoyed going out and doing fun things such as bowling, bingo, going to casinos, movies, and shopping. Tommy is survived by his cousin, Barbara Larson and her husband Gary Larson, of North Carolina. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Southington, CT.
