Obituary of Lori Ann del Guidice
Lori del Guidice of Glastonbury died peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Philip del Guidice, and daughter of the late Peter and Ann (Wolfe) Rustek. She leaves behind her son Robert C Holmes and his wife Andrea of Pearland, TX, brother, Jon Rustek and his wife Lisa of Southington, her sisters Kim Maloney and her husband Jeff of Wolcott, and Lynn Jamieson and her husband Eric of Tiverton RI, several nieces & nephews, and of course her treasured dog CJ. With a graceful ability to brighten the mood of any room she entered; Lori always donned a contagious smile and welcomed a warm embrace from everyone. She had a gift to see the good in everyone she encountered. Combining that gift with her supportive and inspirational nature, Lori was everyone’s cheerleader. Lori’s most important values were learning and teaching. She held two master’s degrees and had a career focused around her values as an educator, principal, text book sales associate & executive, and tutor. With a passion to help others, Lori was especially proud to have been a volunteer and the president of the Glastonbury Second Chance Shop. She was an avid member of the Hill and Dale Garden Club in town. She also loved to read, cook, & garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital. For online condolences please visit www.mulryanfh.com.
