Chris, Richard and Lisa have lost a truly great Dad .. and I have lost my very best High School friend.
Dick probably faced many trials and tribulations in his life, but he seldom let on. In my talks with him recently, he mentioned a few - like his childhood asthma - but he fooled me again. His laugh and his incredibly optimistic outlook remained. Unlike other loved ones that I have lost, I was not prepared.
I was sure he was on the way to recovery, and that I would see him again.
Not in this life.
But his love of life, for his family, and his host of friends remains. May we all take comfort from that. God bless him.

My condolence to all of Richards family. I have been a friend of Richard since Jr Hi, at Concord high and throughout our adult lives. Football, track, choir, school plays. We were even camp counselors one summer in Northern, NH. We had been talking recently and recalling days of our youth with many laughs. He was a best friend and more. May he rest with Connie in peace.

Chris, Richard and Lisa, My heartfelt sympathy to you on the loss of your dad. We talked on the phone not long ago. He was so lonely with out your mother! Your mother and I worked together for many years. She was the matron of honor at our wedding. Your dad and my husband were Concord automobile people "way back when". We made a lot of good memories with your parents! You three were loved more than you can imagine! With sympathy, Joyce Watts

My deepest sympathy. Richard was a long time friend and south end Concord NH neighbor. He was a knowledgeable automobile buff.
I would see Richard & Connie with their annual antique tour thru New England in the big Ford van.
Rest in Peace,
Chris Pappas, Concord NH

I remember Dick attending St. Paul's Church and working together at the Concord Chamber of Commerce. I believe there is a plaque on the alter at St. Paul's with his name and other family members names on it.
May he rest in peace.
Jim
