Obituary of Arline F. Parsons

Arline Frances (Reale) Parsons of Manchester sadly passed away on March 6, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.  Arline was the daughter of the late Elio and Ottilia (Horvath) Reale.  She was raised in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School.   Arline worked for many years at CBT Bank, Ambassador Limousine, The Pub (formerly known as J Fitches Pub), and Gilo's Cafe, where she was known by many as "Stella”.   

Arline raised her family, Keith and Laurie Parsons, in East Hartford and Glastonbury.   She liked to paint ceramics, decorate, garden, read, cook, and bake for all her loved ones in her spare time.  She enjoyed vacationing at the beach with Linda, her sister-in-law, every summer and taking trips "up north" to visit her father-in-law, with whom she shared a special bond. 

Arline is survived by her daughter Laurie Parsons, her sister Donna Almada and her husband Al, and her grandson Keith Parsons Jr. Also left to cherish her memory are many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved son Keith Parsons, granddaughter Angel Parsons Davenport, sister Janice Reale, and niece Rosemary Reale.  Arline will always be remembered for her loving heart, spunky, sassy, fierce, courageous, brave, strong spirit, and most of all, her guidance. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.  In order to adhere to current COVID 19 mandates, masks are required and six feet of social distancing will be maintained.  In Lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the family c/o Keith M.
