This special photo (in 1961) was taken in the driveway of the Washington St home of Jimmy's grandparents (the Hallorans) and the young boy to the right is my youngest brother, Ray Fredericksen. We lived just around the corner on Main St and Jimmy and Ray were best friends growing up. We always liked the McGee family and were happy the boys had each other. They all look happy.

I was saddened to read of Jim's death. We worked together on the Blue Team for many years and were very good friends. We took many busloads of kids to Washington, DC. We both loved sports and coached. I didn't know he had run 7 marathons! I've run a few myself. You might not know that I nagged him like crazy to get his Sixth Year Degree and he finally did! You must have many great memories.
I'm thinking of you all.
Sincerely, Bev Heffernan

When Marcia was the Pinebrook pool director, Jim was always her able assistant. He always offered a welcoming presence to all the kids who spent their summer days at the club.
Jim will be greatly missed.

Marcia, Lindsay and Michaela I am so sorry for you loss!
Please accept my condolences to each of you.
I vividly remember Jim standing at my classroom door and asking if I could read Michaela’s kindergarten book. He knew I would be able to read her kindergarten spelling and he so wanted to remember her stories!!! A loving caring father!

I had the pleasure of having Mr. McGee as my middle school history teacher - one of the years I actually enjoyed the subject. May your memories comfort you during this difficult time. ❤

Jim, you are gone far too soon and we are still in disbelief. Over the next few days, countless words of love, admiration, and appreciation for you will be shared. Among the greatest of all your accomplishments in our minds will be how you cared for and supported your family, Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Brother-in-Law, Friend extraordinaire!! You leave a legacy of kindness, giving, by living a life of integrity and honor. Even though we know that you'll be forever connected to Marcia, Lindsay, and Michaela in their minds and hearts, we will stay close to them, keep reaching out, and support them as they heal. Thank you for gracing our lives with your light, your sense of humor, and just being you!!
Love, Frank, Charlene, & Annie
