My deepest sympathies to the Hassan family, Bruce has been an influential mentor in my life since my days at Glastonbury High School , in shop class and as a Guidance counselor in my senior year (1966).He was always ready with good advice would a good old New England Humor.!! We kept in contact for many years later and Bruce and Mary Lou attended many of our GHS Reunions, the last being our 50th in June 2016. My wife Donna Cory Fochi always looked to Bruce for financial advice during her years at Hopewell School. Apparently Bruce assisted her with loans from the First New England Credit Union. She always relied on Bruce for help. Most of all , Bruce was a true role model for all of us He will missed. Rich Fochi

My sympathies to the Hassan family, You’re in my prayers. It has been my pleasure to know the Hassan family and continue our friendship although I moved away from Glastonbury. I will miss Bruce’s sense of humor, quick wit, and cheerful smile. It has been an inspiration to know someone that can be a great father, respected member of society and remain a kid at heart. Brian and family, What a wonderful man your father was - I see you take after him in many ways. I will be able to come to the calling hours. I will not be able to go the funeral.
