John J Fauteux, 54, of Atlantic Beach, FL formerly of Glastonbury, CT, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2021.  John was born on July 6, 1967 in Hartford, CT.  John is the son of Jean L. and Arlene (Boucher) Fauteux of Venice Florida.  He leaves his cherished sister, Susan L (Suzy Q as he liked to call her) of South Windsor and treasured brother, David B of Glastonbury, Ct.  He also leaves his very special aunt, Madelaine Binner, of Stevensville, MD and a very special cousin, Debbie Cyr Breton, of East Haddam, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, in CT, FL and QC, Canada.

John was a true Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and New England Patriots fan. A sincere patriot, John liked to visit various monuments and was an avid reader of different war books; (his favorite – Band of Brothers).   Most weekends, you could find John on the shores of various Florida beaches fishing.

A graduate of Glastonbury High, he also attended Southern CT and Central CT State colleges; thus began his lifelong career in the banking industry.  John spent many years as a Fraud and Money Laundering investigator with the FDIC, and most recently as VP, Sr. Global Financial Crimes Specialist Investigator for Bank of America, Jacksonville, Florida.  He was a very dedicated employee and loved his job and the team he worked with.  John is truly missed by his family and he will be forever locked in their hearts.
