I will always remember Darcy cheerfully from our high school days and escapades. A blessing on earth was her future from there. My thoughts and prayers are heavily with you praying for your strength and faith in Jesus Christ to bring peace to your aching hearts.
With much love and deep sympathy, Christal Hinchcliffe (Dunn)

Darcy was a special person, caring, kind and a wonderful nurse. I worked with Darcy many years back, when I was a new nurse. She took me under her angel wings and helped me through the first few years of my nursing career. I will never forget her. She always spoke about her love for her Nieces and nephews. I am sorry for your loss.

I worked with Darcy for over ten years at St. Francis, she was a brilliant Nurse who loved her patients. Darcy was a wealth of knowledge and always willing to teach and share her knowledge with the nurses. Throughout the years I am sure I cracked a rib or two with all the fun and laughter we shared. Prayers to her family.

Some memories that define you. . . I would like to share a moment with you all a Darcy moment....Every year my sister in law Jacqueline Varni would have a 4th of July picnic
Darcy was there. We were all sitting on the porch and the ladies said when are you going to marry Cindy Assunto Varni . Darcy said shes a keeper. Well I can't believe that was 20 years ago. That moment is in my mind and I keep thinking of you my dear sweet friend. I miss you and time is to short. Hug to ones you love . I do every day thanks to you. My hubby Scottie. So I encourage everyone to be a person like Darcy a person who sees the good in all and points it out.

Darcy, Grace and Harry lived with me and cousins Scott, Monica and Jackie. This was before there were cell phones. Every night that I worked, I would call home from a pay phone and when they saw that the call was from me they would say “Liz Alert, Liz Alert”! I think this phrase was one of Darcy’s. When the “Liz Alert” was called out, that meant everyone be quiet so that I would think every thing was all good on the home front. Little did I know the house was full of friends! Those were the good ole days and I know Darcy had a blast with her siblings and cousins. We will all have fond memories of Darcy. May God hold her in the palm of his hands and May Darcy Rest In Peace Amen!
Love you Darcy, til we meet again!

To all of the Mott family,
Darcy was one of a kind. Her love for her family always showed brightly. She never missed a family gathering! I can't even imagine how sad you guys are with her passing. No words can make any of you feel better. We were happy to have known her and are very sad at her passing. She is no longer suffering and is with all the ones that passed before her especially Brian Albert. David and I are so sorry for your loss and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Love you all!
