I was so saddened to learn about Lee. We taught together for many years and I will always remember her great enthusiasm for teaching and the knowledge and love she shared with so many students. We had much fun through the years making music together in the Inter Elementary concerts. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone and she left a wonderful musical legacy for so many. My deepest sympathy to Ed and her entire family. Sincerely, Vivian Marks

"Lee was such a wonderful teacher of our students at Hebron Ave. School. However, I remember her best as a friend and colleague who helped support the special education language program, offering suggestions for music and song that filled the classroom with fun. When I met Lynne at Eastbury School years later, I was not surprised at her grace and ability since Lee was always so proud of her daughter. I'd meet Lee in the grocery store after we were both retired and have a chat in the aisle about families and adventures. I hope all the beautiful memories of Lee's life will be a comfort to her family.

I need to thank Lee Dellert for being my music teacher in elementary school at Hebron Avenue. You meant so much to me! I LOVED going to music class every week... so much so that I am now in my 34th year as the choir director at Wethersfield High School. I'm sure I am just one of the many people that Lee influenced during her amazing life. Thank you for teaching me The Old Gray Cat, and about Danse Macabre the beautiful orchestral piece by Saint Saens.... and so many things I remember... including the album we made called "Happiness". And thank you for taking me under your wing when I was becoming a new music teacher!
Love
Always!!!!!!

Lee was one of a kind, talented, creative, loving and very adventurous. A favorite memory was going to NYC to see a Broadway play (Masterclass) .
It was my first Broadway play and I loved it! Always on the go and looking for someone to share the experience with. Sign me up!
Love and Respect Always

Grandma (Nonna), we miss you and love you. Losing you leaves a huge void in our family, but we remain thankful to be able to share as many of the memories we did together. We’ll rest easier knowing that you are watching over us.
We love you,
