Kerri, Rudy and Emma,
My deepest sympathy during this difficult journey. I hope the support and love from friends, family and community give you comfort. I will never forget Steve and his ability to connect in funny ways with anyone even strangers. He would call me out of the blue to talk business especially during this pandemic and offer support and share programs available to assist businesses. His last helpful document(s) came to me with this note via email.
"If you get this assistance you will have to buy me lunch at the batting cage"
"2 plain hot dogs and 1 coke... Steve"

To the Pensiero family, I am truly saddened by Steve’s passing. For the better part of the last 20 years, when I had a tough bindery job to be completed STP Bindery, and Steve, were there to help. Steve had a great sense of humor and a genial, warm, nature. He will be missed.

Dearest Kerrie, Rudy & Emma,
I remember the first time I met Steve and thought what a kind man. You hadn't known yet, but I knew from that day that this man would make my friend happy. and he did. There was such an beautiful energy that surrounded you both from day one. I am so grateful to him for that and for being such an amazing father to your beautiful children. Paul and I are absolutely heart broken over your family's loss. Please know that you all are in our hearts and always will be.

Kerrie, Rudy and Emma I am so truly sorry for your heartbreaking loss. I pray you can find some peace and strength during this most difficult time. Steve will be sorely missed and I hope you can find some peace in knowing how much he was loved and how much he absolutely loved and adored his family. I would have shared his last text to me, I wish i saved it, he was at his happiest when he was making his family happy!
I add this photo as this was the last time I saw him in person since moving to FL and I can still hear his voice, his laugh as we were sitting on the couch. My heart hurts for you!! Sending love and prayers

Kerrie, Rudy & Emma - we’re keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you find comfort and peace in the warmth of all your cherished memories of Steve.
Steve was so kind and had quite the sense of humor. Our fondest memories are from when he made the introductory announcements at the boys’ football games .. ‘Ronak ‘Hackmateck’ Mahatme ‘ announced in that typical Steve style always made us laugh . Steve will be missed by so many… and we pray you find strength to bear his loss.

Steve was my first boss and one of the most fun loving people you could ever meet. With his Michael Jackson impressions and just pure love of laughter, he was a joy to be around. He will be missed but never forgotten.
