Obituary of Denise B. Keller
Denise Keller (Brown), 77, life-long resident of Glastonbury, passed away on October 12th. Born August 24, 1945, Denny was beloved wife of late Donald, and wonderful mother to Donna Keller Savage, husband Mike, of Glastonbury and David Keller, wife Stacey, of Hebron. She was the best Grammy to grandsons Joshua, Jacob, and Joseph.
Denny lived a beautiful life married to her Glastonbury High School (class of 1963) sweetheart and raising their children on their working farm. She loved working alongside Donny with their fruit and vegetable stand on Main St. along with his crafted picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. She enjoyed caring for elderly neighbors in town and traveling to Florida to visit her grandchildren after she and Donny ‘retired’ from farm life and 40 years of the firewood business.
Denny will most be remembered for her joyful and giving spirit. Whatever she had, she wanted to share. Those that knew her expected that big smile and warm welcome. As an avid baker, extra was always made and delivered to brighten someone’s day.
