Mass of Christian Burial
Obituary of Jason R. Morin
Jason Morin, the cherished husband of Tracy (Bugnacki) Morin, died peacefully at age 56 on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Born September 2, 1966, Jason was the son of Claire (Tonina) Morin, of Southington, and the late Wilson Morin. Jason was the Vice President of his family’s business, Capitol Erectors Inc., and later in life, a proud employee of Stop & Shop. He was an avid sports fan and cherished his memories playing highschool and college football. He devoted his time to encouraging others with Multiple Sclerosis through writing and publishing inspirational videos and articles. His proudest achievement, however, was being a husband and father. He is, and always will be, his family’s bright light. To know Jason was to love Jason. His courage, compassion and perseverance were an inspiration to all. He embodied his faith, worked hard despite any struggles and truly never gave up. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two adoring daughters, Brooke Morin of Boston, and Alexa Morin and her fiancé Matt Montano of Manhattan, a sister, Heidi Driscoll and her husband Pete of Southington, and many loved nieces, nephews and dear friends. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 29 at 10am in SS Isidore and Maria Parish at St. Paul’s Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Tuesday morning from 8:00am to 9:30am.
