Obituary of Winthrop Jensen

Winthrop Jensen, 91, of Glastonbury, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. Husband of the late Myrtle (McKeown) Jenson, Winthrop was born, February 2, 1922 to Hartland, VT, to the late Walter and Anna (Petersen) Jensen. He worked for over 30 years as an electrician at Pratt & Whitney, retiring 1983. Winthrop was a member of First Church of Christ Congregational in Glastonbury and also a member and past master of Columbia Lodge #25 A.F. & A.M for over 50 years. He was also a past patron of Good Intent Chapter #17 O.E.S. Win was a past president of Glastonbury AARP #2010 and a member of Glastonbury Grange #26. He is survived by a nephew and his wife, William and June Little, of Geneseo, NY and a niece Linix McKeown of Wilmington, NC. There will be no calling hours. Funeral will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of donor's choice.
