Dear Don and family,
It is now April 10, 2024. I just heard of Joan's passing. With tears in my eyes, this has taken me by surprise.
Joan and I were both longtime members of Wit & Wisdom Poetry Club, Manchester, CT. We served as President/Vice President
together and worked well together. We took workshops together, and at the end of April of each year, we went to lunch to celebrate both our birthdays. Joan's Birthday was toward the end of April and mine May 1st. Covid changed things for everyone. Then we had a turnover in our group. Joan got involved with a Haiku online but remained a member of our group. I had a partial knee replacement in November and went to Florida for the Holidays. I am so sorry I am just getting this news now.
I love Joan, she was a loyal friend and member. She was also a loving wife, mother, and Grandmother. My deepest sympathy. Linda Richardson
