Hi Susan and Family, Emil was a great man. I remember going to conferences with him. He was greatly admired as a teacher at Manchester High School and I was honored to be a member of his department. I am so sorry for your loss. May all the good memories comfort you as you go on remembering him. My prayers are with you.

I was saddened to learn of your husband and father's passing. Although I didn't know him personally, he had to have been an outstanding person to have nurtured such a wonderful family.
A personal note to John,
Your Dad must have had nerves of steel and patience of a saint because after dealing with you, Bobby Q and Eric for four years, I was at my wits end. I must admit those years were some of my favorite years at RHS.
Best wishes and hoping that fond memories will be of comfort during this time,
Dave Geissler

Susan and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. To read of Emil's passing was heartbreaking. As a prior caregiver, when I met Emil and Susan they felt instantly like family and treated me like family. The laughter during our visits and seeing the love "you two crazy kids" had for each other will always hold a special place in my heart. My sincerest condolences to a wonderful family and thank you for the privilege of allowing me into your home and lives. Nurse Debbie

Mark and other family members of Emil. Ostrowski, I give you all my condolences. He was a great man. Mark, when we first met you often mentioned your dad and it was clear that you admired him.

I was a student in Mr. O’s accounting class in the late 70’s at MHS. He actually made accounting and business classes interesting and fun to learn. He was such a positive influence on me I pursued the accounting and tax field as a profession. I recently retired after 37 years in this field. I can only hope there are more quality teachers out there to advise awkward 16 yr olds like myself and make such a positive impression one would seek a career in this field. Thanks again Mr. O for the lifelong advice. RIP

I was blessed to live across the street from Mr. and Mrs. O. and family until the age of six. They carved such a special place in my heart that I have been drawn to visit whenever I can throughout the years. Our last visit earlier this year went much like the rest. There was always a cup of tea, a little something sweet, a warm interest in catching up and much joy and pride as they shared the comings and goings of John, Mark, Kim and their wonderful grandchildren. They have made a profound impact on how I want to show up in the world for children. Rest peacefully, Mr. O. You done good! God bless The Ostrowski Family at this tender time.

I always remember as a young girl going to Vernon, Connecticut and visiting my Auntie Sue and Uncle Emil, and my cousins, Mark, John, and Kim. I remember going upstairs and listening to records, one song stands out in my mind, ‘Long cool women in a black dress.’ I remember my Uncle Emil reading a lot when I would see him. My sympathy goes out to my aunt Cousins and all the family. Sending love from Colorado. Beverly☘️.

Every young girl has a fairy tale wedding, mine was Aunt Sue's and Uncle Emil's ......
I am not sure how old I was, my sister, Janice and cousin, Kathy were Junior Bridesmaids, back in those days, I am 4 years younger than my sister, Janice
I was Kathy's Maid of Honor, how quickly we grow up!
Aunt Sue was Cinderella to me, and Uncle Emil, her Prince Charming.......
Their marriage lasted, what? 63 years? Truly a wonderful wedding....
My deepest sympathies to my Aunt Sue, and Cousins John, Mark and Kim and their families
Sincerely from Minnesota with Love, Ellen, Jeff, sons and their families
