Obituary of Merris E. Williams

Merris E. Williams, 78, of Hebron, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1945 to the late Gordon and Lillian (Fredette) Ely in Hartford. Merris bred, trained, and showed several breeds of dogs but Border Terriers brought her the most joy.  A friend of Bill’s for 25 years, she also volunteered for the Hebron Library. Merris is survived by her sister Hilary Taschner and her husband, Anton, of Berlin. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
