Obituary of Paul E. DiSanto, Sr.
Paul E. DiSanto Sr., 77, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Carol A. (Sellitto), died Friday, April 12, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1946 to the late Joseph and Mary (Mutterer) DiSanto in Albany, NY. Paul was a graduate of Newington High School where he was a 4 year captain of his Varsity Baseball team as a catcher. He attended college at Southern Colorado State University as a freshmen and then transferred to the University of Hartford – serving as Captain of his baseball team all 4 years. Paul played semi-pro baseball with the Hartford Twilight League and was an avid golfer as a member of both Glastonbury Hills CC and TPC at River Highlands. He was a Certified Public Accountant and co-founder of DiSanto Bertoline & Company, P.C. retiring in 2002. Paul was a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Connecticut Society of CPA's. He also served on many nonprofit Entities. Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his son, Paul E. DiSanto, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne, of Glastonbury, his grandchildren, Paul III, Noah, and Caroline. He is also survived by his brother Joseph DiSanto and his wife, Cindy, of Brookfield, MA, his sister-in-law Barbara, of Southington, as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his brother Edward. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 19 at 10am in SS Isidore and Maria Parish at St. Paul, 2577 Main St. Glastonbury.
