Carpenter Cousins out for lunch in Warwick, NY, 2001: L to R Carol Fredericks, Ann Hamilton, Lee Milligan, Fay Carpenter. The Carpenter line is long and historic, and Ann did much research on the genealogy of "our" branch, going back to
great-great grandfather Daniel Carpenter of William B., 1608.
Cousin Lee is fondly remembered and we pray that God will raise her up on eagles' wings
Bear her on the breath of dawn, Make her to shine like the sun, And hold her in the palm of His hand

Lee Carpenter Milligan was a friend of mine at Grover Cleveland High School in Caldwell, New Jersey. We graduated together and shared many good times in clubs at school. Lee was a quiet, intelligent girl who was liked and respected by other students.
The photo that accompanies the obituary was certainly a reminder of the high school girl that I knew. We lost touch over the years, but it appears that Lee became quite an asset to her community in her life - as someone who “knew her when” would certainly have expected!
Condolences on the passing of Lee Carpenter Milligan, a woman of worth.
