Obituary of Philip C. Ouellette

Philip C. Ouellette, 83, of Vernon, beloved husband of the late Alberta (Lavoie) died, Monday, August 5, 2024 at home. He was born in Grand Isle, Maine on May 18, 1941 to the late Ludger and Beatrice (Garon) Ouellette. Phil was a barber for 43 years, 10 years in Hartford and 33 at the Towne Barbershop in Glastonbury, he retired in 2003.  After retirement he and Alberta moved to Vero Beach, FL, they also enjoyed traveling and going on many cruises. Phil is survived by his brother Andrian “Andy” Ouellete of Broad Brook, his sisters, Arlene Clavette, of Enfield, and, Patricia “Kit” DiNocenza, of Newington, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very good friends Mark and Nancy Dobrowolski, and Rich. Besides his wife of over 50 years, Phil was predeceased by his brother Robert Ouellete, and his wife Carlene, sisters Yvette Garon, and Norma Thomas, and her husband, Paul, sister in law Mabel Ouellette, and brothers in law Ronald Clavette and Al DiNocenza.  Burial of ashes will be held on Monday, August 12 at 11am in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
