I was shocked and saddened to learn just last night of John's passing. It was at our 55th high school reunion, and he was someone who I very much had hoped to see. A long time friend, I have many great memories of playing cards, pool, and especially baseball with Johnnie. He was always ready to seriously compete, but always with joy and a smile (that mischievous smile!).
My sincerest condolences to Joe, Paul, and the entire Wroblewski family.
