I'm so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. My sister was friends with Tony for years and she recommended him to me for hair styling. After my appointment with Tony I always felt good about myself. It wasn't just the hair, Tony made everyone feel special. He was always current, funny, and a good conversationalist. I think he enriched more people's lives than he realized. I will always remember his intensity, his talent, and his wonderful smile.

Our hearts are deeply saddened about Tony's passing. He fought courageously throughout his battle. It was our family's privilege to be friends for more than 20 years. He was kind, generous, accommodating, & patient. His knowledge in many subjects resulted in many pleasant conversations. His directness never left me wondering where I stood especially being 10 minutes late for weekly appointments. More than a master hairstylist to us, he was a good friend who is missed. With sincere sympathy, Joyce, George, Tim, & Sarah Eknaian

I worked with Tony at the Marco Polo Restaurant in East Hartford, CT. I was a waitress and he was the bartender. Those were really great days. Tony was a great bartender and fast. He knew his stuff. I'm sure he would have been great at any job he had. I remember him from Tiago's but never had the pleasure of him styling my hair. Rest in peace Tony.

I was very saddened to hear of Tony's passing. As a long-time client of his, I once told him that I see him more often than I see any of my friends! We chatted about books, movies, sports and current events. I considered him a friend, and will miss him a lot. My sincere condolences to the family.

It was with heavy heart that I learned of Tony’s passing. Tony was my hairdresser for many years, beginning when he as at Tiago’s in Hartford up through this past summer. Besides styling my hair, Tony always had great suggestions on the latest books and movies. We also enjoyed discussing politics and sports. I miss him terribly. My sincere condolences to his family.

I am so saddened Tony has left us. I also have known him since his days with Tiago. Tony made you feel like a friend, not just a client. I could always count on leaving a visit with him laughing. What a tragic loss he was taken so soon. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

I cannot tell you how sad I am today about the death of my friend Tony. I have known Tony for many many years. Our relationship started on Pratt Street downtown Hartford. I followed him where ever he went. I was the one client who would call him up and asked he if good fit me in. always last minute and he always made time for me. I will miss our talks Yankees vs Red Sox. Me the Yankee fan. I am grateful he was able to see the Red Sox win a World Series. I tried to play golf with Tony but he was very fast, me not so much. He was also an avid reader and movie expert. Recommended many good books. He was the best and I will miss him dearly. My thought and prayers go to his family and his close friends.
