Obituary of Jay Bentivegna

Jay A. Bentivegna , 49, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of June (Wentworth) Bentivegna, died Sunday January 18, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. Born June 24, 1965 in Bay Ridge, NY, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 14 years. Jay was a Senior Field Trainer for the Toro Company. He was a past volunteer firefighter with Company #1 and had coached Hartwell soccer for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by his 2 daughters Rachel and Catherine, his parents Joseph and Caroleann Bentivegna, a brother Charles Bentivegna, a sister Missie Frame and a niece Elizabeth Johnson all of Florida and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ken and Carole Wentworth of Florida. A memorial service will be Thursday January 22 at 10:00am in the South Congregational Church, corner of Main and High Sts., South Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday January 21 from 5-8pm.
