Obituary of Henry Gehrhardt
Henry Michael Gehrhardt II, 51, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Beth Baise Gehrhardt, died Thursday, March 26, 2015. He was born January 24, 1964 to Henry and Rosemary (Eckenrode) Gehrhardt, in Manhattan, Kansas. He was raised in Western Springs, IL and was a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. His career was spent with Kenwood Corporation. He married Beth Ann Baise in 1992 and together they had two children, Michael Alan and Madelyn Elizabeth. They lived in the Chicagoland area before moving to Glastonbury, CT in 2010. Henry was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with friends at the Century Lodge muskie fishing. He was a passionate Chicago sports fan, and he was very active in Glastonbury Youth Football. Henry was the consummate "fix-it" man and skilled craftsman who friends and family relied on for any job. In addition to his wife and children, Michael and Madelyn, Henry is survived by his parents, his sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Gehrhardt, Robin Muzzalupo and her husband Vince, Gretchen Gannon and her husband Dan, his in-laws Gary and Ann Baise, his sister-in-law Trudy Baise, his brothers-in-law, Stephen Baise and his wife Julie, Erik Baise and his wife Michele, as well as his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Matthew, Meghan, Megan, Brittany, Lauren, Ashleigh, Greagoir and Sarah. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Alan Baise and his mother-in-law, Sandra Baise. Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 2 from 9am to 11am in the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. A funeral service will be held at 11am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gehrhardt Children Education Fund, c/o Beth Gehrhardt, 92 Feldspar Ridge, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
