Obituary of John Ramondetta

John S. "Moose" Ramondetta, 67, of Glastonbury, formerly of East Hartford, died peacefully October 30, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born in Hartford, son of the late Frank and Jennie Ramondetta. John was a former Marine and had attended Bulkeley and Newington High Schools. He worked as a Hartford Fire Fighter and at Andy's Supermarket. John was a loving caring man, who especially enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for his family and friends. John was an avid Yankees and Giants fan and enjoyed antique cars, boating and fishing. He leaves four sons, John Ramondetta, Jr., Michael Ramondetta and his wife Emily, Daniel Ramondetta and Stephen Ramondetta, as well as three grandchildren, Michaela, Sophia and John, III. He is also survived by his brothers Vito Ramondetta and his wife Rose and Frank Ramondetta and his sister Janice Dugger and her husband Robert and many caring nephews, nieces and cousins. Family and friends made call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Wednesday (Nov.3, 2010) from 10:30am till noon with a Funeral Service at noon in the funeral home.
