Obituary of Eleanor Montenieri

Eleanor F. (Kocum) Montenieri, 85, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Eugene P. Montenieri, Sr., died Tuesday Dec. 21, 2010 at Hartford Hospital. Born January 25, 1925 in Glastonbury, daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Welch) Kocum, she was a lifelong resident of Glastonbury. Besides her husband she is survived by her four children Eugene P., Jr. and Debra Montenieri of Bonita Springs, FL, Ronald P. and Paula Montenieri of Glastonbury, James V. Montenieri and Elaine Anderson of Glastonbury, Marie and David Gesler of Orange, a brother Raymond Kocum of Broad Brook, 2 sisters Shirley Bombanti of Rocky Hill and Beverly Hurley of Enfield, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Barbara Cheney. Funeral service will be Monday( Dec. 27), 9:15am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday (Dec. 26) from 2-4pm.
