Obituary of LaVerne Turovac

LaVerne M. (Evans) Turovac, 79, of Glastonbury, beloved wife of Joseph P. Turovac, died Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. Born April 15, 1932 in Homestead, PA, daughter of the late Reese D. and Margaret (Nolan) Evans she had lived in Glastonbury since 1988. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons and their spouses; Joseph P. and Donna Turovac of Eatontown, NJ, Michael P. and Kimberly Turovac of Glastonbury, David P. and Jody Turovac of Farmington, a sister Maureen Scheide of PA, nine grandchildren; Tara, Ryan, Casey, Michael, Reese, Joseph, Michael, Laura and Taylor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Sept. 30, at 12 noon in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
