Dear Marcie and family --- our condolences and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Bob was a great friend and colleague to us and our family. Our lives interacted in many ways, whether it was sharing a cup of coffee at St. Dunstan's between masses as Bob was ushering or performing his church oversight duties and Cindy was cantoring, the many work years we shared at HIG, or simply running into each other in Glastonbury. Bob was a true gentleman, a friend to all, willing to assist in anyway .... always, no matter how busy. He will be missed.

Dear Marcy and family. I was saddened to read of Bob's passing. For many years, we worked together at The Hartford and, regardless of what was going on, Bob was always such a gentleman and extremely fair to all. May you find peace in this time of sorrow. With sincere sympathy, Claudia Gauches

I remember Bob from the Hartford and all of the good laughs we shared. Then I had the pleasure of working with Mary Beth. Great legacy and great genes. He will be missed by all.

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Bob during many of the years we both spent at The Hartford. He was always a warm, caring person and a valuable and devoted Hartford employee.
I worked in a department (Claims) that was not thought of very highly back then. Bob early-on recognized the value of Claims and made sure it was thought of and represented at forums where it would normally be excluded. He did so in a warm and cordial manner that made others (such as myself) truly feel to be valued members of the team.
Although we lost track of each other over the years, I always considered Bob a special friend. He'll remain in my prayers.
The deepest condolences to his family.
