Obituary of Catherine Ponchak Miller

Catherine (Ponchak) Miller, 65, of Glastonbury passed away on Sunday April 19, 2015 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. She is the beloved daughter of Robert W.Ponchak and the late Pauline (Duquette) Ponchak. She was a long time member of St. Paul Church of Glastonbury. Catherine was born in Hartford, CT., and graduated from East Hartford High School. She worked for the Federal Government, Immigration, Naturalization Services, Homeland Security. She was a witty woman with a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile; always giving a helping hand to others. She loved animals, especially cats, her Molly. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 24 at 10am in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Thursday April 23 from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Protectors of Animals, P.O.
