Obituary of Jean B. Kilgore
Jean B. Kilgore, 80, formerly of Glastonbury passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7th at Treasure Coast Hospice of Fort Pierce, FL with her loving husband by her side. Born June 15, 1935 in Warren, MA, Jean was the daughter of the late Percy and Susan Durand. She and her husband Don spent most of their lives in Glastonbury raising their family before retiring to Patten, ME and Fort Pierce. She was an excellent bookkeeper for Heritage Auto Body which she and her husband owned for many years. Jean was a member of the Women’s Club of Glastonbury and took joy in attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. Jean loved her home in Maine and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a generous spirit and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald of Fort Pierce, FL; son, John and his wife, Robin of Palm City, FL; daughter, Bonnie and her husband, Gary of Glastonbury, CT; grandchildren, Chelsea and her husband, JJ Redick of Hermosa Beach, CA; Kylee and her husband, Hadi Fakhoury of Manhattan, New York; Lindsey of Glastonbury, CT; Travis and his wife, Kate of Coventry CT; great grandson, Knox; brother, Robert and sister, Margie, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 5 brothers, and 1 sister. Calling hours will be on Friday October 23, 2015 from 4-7PM at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury with a memorial service to be held on Saturday October 24, 2015 at The Congregational Church in South Glastonbury at 11:00 AM. There will be reception following Mrs. Kilgore’s service.
