Obituary of Ines A. Fortunato

Ines Fortunato, 102, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Friday October 23, 2015, at home surrounded by those she loved most. She is predeceased by her son-in-law Augusto Clara, and her brothers, Samuel, Jeronimo, and Marfim from Portugal and Brazil. Ines is survived by her dedicated and loving daughter Maria F. Clara of East Hartford, and her two granddaughters; Gina Clara-Martins and her husband Victor of Ellington CT, and Nancy and her partner Jennifer Sordi of Enfield, CT. She leaves behind four adoring great grandchildren who brought her pure joy, Victoria and Ethan Martins of Ellington and Cameron and Brayden Clara-Sordi of Enfield. She is also survived by two sisters, Perfeita Monteiro of Orlando, Florida, and Fernanda Clara of Lisbon, Portugal, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 27 at 12 noon in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 40 Fatima Square, Hartford. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
