Obituary of Gregory Thomas Priest
Gregory Thomas Priest 47, of South Glastonbury, beloved husband of Christine (Higgins) Priest, passed away into Gods eternal everlasting kingdom in heaven on Tuesday September 6, 2016, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born January 30, 1969 in Hartford, only son of Jean (Carini) Priest of Glastonbury and the late Thomas A. Priest. Greg had lived in Glastonbury all his life. In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by three young daughters, Ashley , Jacqueline and Nicole, a sister and brother-in-law Colleen and David Weston of Yarmouth, MA. two step nephews Eric and Jeffery Weston, a dear Aunt Jeannie Carini of Glastonbury, In-laws Norman and Nancy Higgins of South Glastonbury, sister in-law and brother in-law Kimberly and Robert Eagen of Glastonbury, and two nieces Kelly and Katelyn Eagen, many cousins and friends. We are so blessed to have a dedicated family.
Greg was a strong and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law and friend. We will miss his strength, courage and honesty. Nothing brought more joy to Greg then his family including his Labrador Thomas. To his last days he continued to be brave and have faith. Greg attended CCSU and was an entrepreneur and he also enjoyed farming. A heartfelt thank you to Greg’s special ICU nurses and doctors. Sincere thank you to my immediate family, supportive friends and caring co-workers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 9, at 11am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Hopewell Rd, South Glastonbury. There are no calling hours.
